The Panel aims to be a diverse, inclusive and equitable workplace all and is committed to ensuring that it is a fair workplace for all employees. Under Kia Toipoto agencies need at least 20 employees in each comparative group to publish statistically robust pay gaps, while also protecting the privacy of employees. The Panel is a small organisation with fewer than 20 employees and therefore does not publish information about gender, Māori, Pacific or ethnic pay gaps.

The Panel currently has more women than men employees, with more men holding leadership roles. The Panel will continue to review its systems and policies to help promote more diverse leadership opportunities.

The Panel will continue to aim to create an inclusive environment by ensuring the Panel’s internal policies are regularly reviewed considering gender and ethnicity information the Panel holds. The Panel will continue to review its recruitment processes to ensure those processes are unbiased.

The Panel has flexible working arrangements that allow employees to work from home and with flexible hours so that they can best tailor their schedules. The Panel’s flexible working arrangements are equally available to employees of all genders.
